Competitions

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions.

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, except employees and their immediate families of Synergy 23 Pty Ltd ABN 83 122 790 452 (T/As Cosmic Cocktails & Events).

The competition is currently active (1st June 2024) and will conclude in no less than 30 days from the start date.

To enter, during the competition period, simply click on the Enter Our Competition to Win $1000 Catering link located on the Competition Entry Form Page, then complete the form and click submit. You consent to Cosmic Cocktails & Events also contacting you from time to time via email in connection with promotional offers and other competitions. You may opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe in emails received, but please be advised this will also remove you from the competition and you will not be eligible to win.

All valid entries will be entered into the competition. Cosmic Cocktails & Events accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, delayed, corrupted or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

In consideration for awarding the prize to the winner, the winner agrees to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the prize and consents to their name and image being used in promotional material.

The winner as determined by the judge will win the prize which is catering to the value of $1000. The prize includes the following;

• Finger Food Platters to the value of $700
• 2 staff members for 3 hours to heat and serve platters as required to your guests, valued at $300

The prize is valued at AUD$1000.00

The total prize pool is valued a minimum of AUD $1000.00 based on 1 winner.

The winner will be notified via email and phone and a notice will be placed on the Cosmic Cocktails & Events Facebook page and our Recent News page at www.cosmiccocktails.com.au. If your contact details change during the competition period, it is your responsibility to notify Cosmic Cocktails & Events.

Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the winner does not take the prize within the time set by Cosmic Cocktails & Event , the winner will forfeit the prize. Cosmic Cocktails & Events accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value. If the prize is unavailable, Cosmic Cocktails will substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. This may or may not be similar to the unavailable prize.

Although the prize is open to all Australian residents over 18 years old, the prize is only valid for the Perth metropolitan area. The venue for the prize must be a private residence within a 100 km radius of the Perth CBD, any venue outside the radius is at the discretion of the judge.

The prize winner and accompanying guests are responsible for providing their own transport to and from the venue and for all ancillary costs such as extra food, all beverages including alcoholic beverages and any items of a personal nature. Proof of age will be required by the winner and must be over 18 years old. Cosmic Cocktails & Events promotes the responsible service of alcohol.

Cosmic Cocktails & Events may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Cosmic Cocktails & Events.

No changes can be made to the prize booking within 30 days of the function. Should the winner and accompanying guests be unable to attend their function they forfeit the prize. No correspondence will be entered into and no additional prize will be offered.

The prize/s must be claimed and used within 12 months of the competition draw date otherwise that winner will forfeit the prize. Prize/s cannot be used on Sundays, Public Holidays, Christmas Eve or New Years Eve and may be subject to availablity.

To the full extent permitted by law Cosmic Cocktails & Events, its officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether due to the negligence of any person, including Cosmic Cocktails & Events, or otherwise) in connection with entering the competition or using the prize.

In this document "Australian Consumer Law" has the meaning given under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Nothing in this document will exclude, restrict or modify any right a person may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other legislation which under such laws cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.

Cosmic Cocktails & Events accepts no responsibility for the tax implications from prize winnings.

The personal information you provide will be used by Cosmic Cocktails & Events, and may be disclosed to its agents, to conduct the competition. You consent to such use, storage and disclosure.

Any person invited by the prize winner to share in the prize as their accompanying guest and who elects to take up this part of the prize does so on the basis that he or she also accepts these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia and the prize winner, their guest and Cosmic Cocktails & Events submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of such state.

The promoter of the competition is Synergy 23 Pty Ltd, ABN 83 122 790 452, Unit 1 & 2, 61 Buckingham Drive, Wangara WA 6065.
